Paved with Good Intentions: The Failure of Passive Disability Policy in Canada
Canadian governments are pursuing disability policies long discredited elsewhere in the world. Programs that pay for the deemed presence of disability are “feel-good” measures that trap tens of thousands in dependency. We need a different approach, one that addresses the impacts of disability.
